💔 The Unspoken Pain
Silence lingered in the room. The only sound audible was the soft rhythm of Swara’s breathing as she lay unconscious on the bed. Sanskar Maheshwari sat beside her, his eyes never leaving her face. He gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his heart twisting in pain at the sight of the bruises on her skin.
“Swara…” he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion. “How much did you suffer… and I wasn’t there.”
Dr. Mukherji stood quietly, observing the scene. She had seen countless broken souls in her career, but the raw emotion in Sanskar’s eyes reminded her that love — when true — could heal even the deepest wounds.
“Sanskar ji,” she finally spoke, “Swara needs time… and she needs you — not as her husband only, but as her strength. What happened today triggered something she had buried deep inside her.”
Sanskar looked at the doctor, confusion and fear visible in his eyes. “Please tell me everything, Doctor. I need to know what she’s hiding… I need to help her.”
💭 The Past That Still Hurts
Dr. Mukherji took a deep breath. “A few months ago, before you two reunited… Swara came to me. She was suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Her trust had been broken so many times that she had started doubting herself. Every accusation, every betrayal left a scar on her mind. She had panic attacks, sleepless nights, fear of losing the people she loved.”
Sanskar felt a lump form in his throat. The confident, strong Swara he once knew — fighting for truth, fighting for love — had been crushed under the weight of others’ judgments.
“She told me,” the doctor continued softly, “that she’s afraid of love… afraid that anyone she loves will end up hurt because of her. That’s why she always ran away from her own feelings.”
Sanskar’s heart clenched. “She never told me…”
“She wouldn’t. She didn’t want to be a burden,” the doctor replied. “But now, she doesn’t just need medicine — she needs you. You are her anchor, Sanskar. The only person who can bring her back.”

After the doctor left, Sanskar sat beside Swara again. He gently held her hand, his thumb caressing her cold fingers.
“Swara,” he whispered, “you once taught me how to love. Now it’s my turn to teach you how to trust again.”
He kissed her forehead, tears silently escaping his eyes.
“No one will ever hurt you again… not while I’m alive.”
As the night grew darker, Sanskar stayed awake, watching her sleep peacefully under the effect of medicine. Every few minutes, he would check her pulse, adjust her blanket, and whisper words of reassurance — words that she couldn’t hear yet, but her heart surely would.
Outside, the world might still question her, blame her… but inside this room, Sanskar Maheshwari had already decided — he would fight the world for his Swara.
🌙 The Next Morning
Sunlight streamed through the curtains. Swara stirred, slowly opening her eyes. The first thing she saw was Sanskar sitting beside her, still holding her hand, his head resting near it as if he hadn’t moved all night.
She blinked, confused. “Sanskar…?”
He instantly lifted his head, relief flooding his features. “Thank God, Swara… tum theek ho?”
She nodded weakly, her eyes welling up. “Tum… ruke the?”
Sanskar smiled faintly. “Kya tumhe laga main chhod ke jaaunga?”
That one sentence — filled with warmth, pain, and love — broke the dam inside her. Tears flowed freely, and before she could say anything, Sanskar gently pulled her into his arms.
“Cry as much as you want,” he murmured. “But from today, you’ll never cry alone.”
Swara clutched his shirt tightly, sobbing into his chest. For the first time in days, she felt safe — truly safe.
And Sanskar silently made another promise — to heal her heart, to rebuild her confidence, and to show the world that Swara Gadodia was not weak — she was his warrior queen.
