Swasan ff:An Incomplete Scrapbook (Web Of Mysteries) Episode 10

Sanskar's POV:
For two seconds I became numb. I looked at my target, who was sleeping peacefully due to the overdose of alcohol. "Who were you? What was your identity? What were you hiding from the society?" These were some of the questions which popped up in my mind. The more closely I wanted to know you; the more mysterious and strange things were happening with me. When I could trace out one secret, you were throwing a stack of more mysteries in front of me. I had lots of questions, whose answers I didn't know. "Why was she staying in this house? Why did she tell lie to me? Why there was no photograph of her father and also not the contact number in her contact lists? What was Mayuri's photograph doing here? Why did she hate her?" There were bunches of questions whose answers could only be known from my target. But why would she reply to me? I couldn't ask her directly. Even I couldn't threaten her as my captain strictly denied to do those things. I thought that as if I was in Bermuda Triangle, where only objects went & disappeared but real causes were never found. The same thing was happening with me. I was surrounded by a web full of mysteries and the solution was unknown to me. "Hell! What would I do now?" I had killed many people in my life but unfolding mysteries were not my cup of tea. Time was running out of my hand. I once again searched the entire house to get any further clue. But this time fortune didn't support me. I could not take risk to stay here anymore. So, I took some photographs which I felt necessary and left her home. As it was an autolocked door, I didn't have to close it. I went to my car and started it to go away from that place even before anyone could see me.

In my car I gulped a full bottle of water to calm down myself. Nothing could be achieved by distress of mind, I knew it. So, I started to remember the sequence of incidents to get a clue. After so much struggle and hectic pressure of mind, I found out the connecting link to solve the puzzle & it was none other than Mayuri. Only Mayuri was able to answer my questions. But where would I find Mayuri? I didn't know her address. I only knew that she was an escort girl, who came to party & bar to enhance the hotness of the party. Apart from that I didn't know anything about her whereabouts? While thinking all these things, I had already reached to my place, my darkness world. I parked the car & went inside my room. I changed my clothes and lay down in bed..

"I saw my mother was coming with food plate & was telling me to complete it fast. I denied to eat as I didn't like those vegetables. My father came with lots of gifts and chocolates and told us to be ready now to attend the party. I was happy. Just then police came and arrested my father. I was crying to leave him but my mother was not objecting & then I heard a bullet sound and bloods were gushing on the floor." I woke up only to find me sweating heavily like I had just taken bath. This was a dream.. But it was not a mere dream. It was my past. The same past which I had buried in coffins for so many years. But because of this target, the same past was hunting me again. I wanted to solve the the puzzle as soon as possible. So, I decided to go to every bar and party in search of Mayuri. But then an idea struck into my mind. As my target knew about Mayuri, so by following her I might get any clue. Therefore, from today onwards my work was to follow her & to trace Mayuri as early as possible. The full night, I was unable to sleep. The next morning I woke up early to follow my target. I went to the same secret place where I dropped her yesterday. I waited there for 3 hours and around 12.30 PM she came out from her place & hired a taxi to go somewhere. I again followed her and the hired taxi stopped near a cafeteria. I saw the same girl, whose name I didn't know, was waiting for her near the gate of cafeteria. I had already seen the same girl, came out of my target's house with some documents at late hours of yesterday night. My target & that same girl went inside the cafeteria & were involved in some serious discussions. Though I couldn't hear it properly but their facial expressions showed that they were damn serious. "Oh gosh!! She had seen me." I thought when she kept the drink on the table and looked at the spot where I was standing to confirm her doubt. But luckily I escaped from her sight. She then went away in that same girl's car.

This chasing cat and mouse game continued for many days. I spotted my target with that same girl multiple times in all these days. But unfortunately I couldn't get a hint about Mayuri. Also I didn't view any suspicious activities going on in my target's life. Might be 20 days had already passed & in between I tried everything to get a single clue. Thankfully my captain was involved in other stuffs, so, in all these days he never called me to get the recent updates. I also saw my target was going to a medical college. Might be she was studying there. All my days were wasted by following her and the nights were destroyed in searching Mayuri. But I failed miserably in both these tasks. Many days were already passed without any information. I was hell frustrated. So, I decided to go to the same bar ,"The Barking Spider", where I had seen Mayuri once, to get any clue about her from the bartender. That night I went to that bar and went towards the bar tender to ask about Mayuri. But my fortune was damn good on that day. It was absolutely true that God helped those who helped themselves. And whom I saw, I could not believe. I was chasing her from so many days and now she was standing near a stone's throw distance from me. Finally tonight I could vent out secret from her mouth. I went towards her and held her hand forcibly. She was about to shout but I placed my hand on her mouth to stop her. As I already knew the reputation of this bar, so I knew that no body would care for this minor incident and as all were involved in their own stuffs, so nobody was there to stop me. I dragged her towards the corner of the bar where only darkness prevailed. But in those darkness also I could bet that Mayuri was damn worried and scared to see me there. She also knew that I could strangle her in a few minutes without leaving any proofs. So she remained silent and didn't object me.
